Moves, Adds or Changes (MAC)
At one time or another, most organizations experience changes that involve moving or adding staff, or transferring office locations. MAC to telephone and network systems can prove to be disruptive and even costly to any business. Many IT departments are already stretched with day-to-day activities and have difficulty attending to small MAC jobs. At RGTS, we know that moving, adding or just changing a person’s location can often be more complex than might be imagined. We welcome these opportunities and can dispatch highly skilled engineers and technicians to perform these tasks quickly and professionally.
Typically, MAC assignments related to data services involve the following:
- Add or remove a VoIP work station
- Move a PC from one location to another
- Upgrade server software
- Change router configuration
- Add a co-location cabinet

A Change is defined as a modification to the original plan or executed offering and it can be in the form of physical or logical modification or a logical upgrade. These services are typically billed on a unit bases “per/each” or on a time and material basis.
Time and material services are typically defined as an undefined scope of work that requires RGTS labor, material, or a combination of both. These services are typically billed on a basis of number of resources times a standard labor rate, plus materials.
